Whizzing by without a second thought,
Ripping your life out from under you.
We stumble and fall
Just to keep up.
Our lives are but a speck on the track of time.
What does it care what we want -
What we need,
What we cherish.
We are but a blink of time's eye,
So quick we aren't noticed.
